The Burrard Inn, Vancouver
Aim
The design team were hired to renovate a run down, dusty old hotel with 70 rooms, aiming to give the hotel a new lease of life and some well needed love and affection.
The approach was to start with 2 guest suites and the courtyard and from the design of these suites came the blueprint for a cost effective solution for new highly sought after retro boutique hotel.
The immediate success of the initial refurbishments allowed to owners to increase the scope to complete all the rooms and all the amenity spaces.
